Since Valhalla is mentioned drastically more than the lunar crater it is associated with, I decided to share it here. The crater, where the entrance to Valhalla is located, is named Jules Verne. It is an actual crater on the far side of the moon. There are other craters around this main one which share the name but with an alpha character to the name of each one.
As one can guess named after the science fiction writer known for a number of stories. A number of them have been made into movies and at least adapted versions of certain stories have also been made into movies. Verne's stories are among my family's favorites.
