Lunar Sister's Gravity Change
Lunar Sister's Gravity Change
This change in the moon's gravity isn't explained nor explored during this first novel except that it was caused by the approach and passing of COMET NXZ-128. What was special about this comet? Why didn't affect earth's gravity? I will have the MacMurchaids along with others look into this in a future novel, but not the second novel since it already been written.
Since we don't presently know what the core of the moon is made of, the scientists of the time which the MacMurchaids awoke in will have to work with hypothesis of what scientists think it is made of and how it can be affected by other celestial body. They will definitely look at COMET NXZ-128's trajectory as to why the moon was affected and not the earth.
They may have faster computers in the future, but unless they have most of the factual details any possible results will be at most conjectures. This will definitely be a subject which is hard to answer logically now much less in the future.
Even with the increase with gravity, how is the new atmosphere not dissipating and how did the 'rain' fall? Plenty of questions for my future writings. Maybe I need input from real scientists for this subject. Such is the mystery related to space and our search for knowledge.
